There is a reason why Paul and I returned to North Carolina immediately after college! Michigan winters were dreary, long, and you could count on a fresh layer of snow every week. Hmmm…that sounds like a perfect description of this winter and the last. At least this year, we made sure to get a sled, serious snow boots, and triple-layer mittens early in the season. They’ve already been put to good use, and it’s only mid-January!
