At the end of September, the “Big 3” and I enjoyed a morning exploring the ponds of Biltmore Estate. We have been studying freshwater habitats in science, and I thought it would be fun to see a variety of examples up close. The weather was gorgeous, no tourists were in sight, and the children were full of happy energy for the long walk.
