By the beginning of the week, I was ready to resume our school routine! It wasn’t entirely normal since Caleb has joined us full-time now and Paul’s office is now directly across from the school room. There were a few days of short tempers (parents and children alike) as we all adjusted. But we pulled it together!
The weather was gorgeous on most days, and we took lots of walks in our neighborhood. My favorite memory from this week was seeing all the neighbors, often with their dogs (so many dogs!), out and about. Husbands and wives; parents with teens; entire families on bicycles – these scenes simply don’t happen in the normal hustle and bustle of our lives. A silver lining during these unprecedented times!
