On a beautiful Saturday in June, we decided to try our first real family hike. I researched trails that were reasonable for little ones and settled on the Moore Cove Falls Trail in Pisgah National Forest. It was perfect! Everybody walked the whole way there and back, and the falls were an impressive reward for all their efforts. It was also very meaningful for me, since I was born and bred in Brevard, to be with my own children in the woods where I made many happy memories.
What a beautiful place to call home! We are going to have so much fun exploring it as a family!
