On the morning of the 4th, I posted the following status on Facebook:
"’Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.’ (John Adams)
Celebrating with soberness today, grateful for this country's exceptional founding while fearful for her future.”
We donned the red, white, and blue with pride as we headed to the club for an evening of family, games, and food.
I do not know what the United States of America will (or won’t) be defined by in future years. May this nation return to the vision given by our Founders and thrive for generations to come!
