The boys actually slept until their normal wake up time (6:15ish) on Christmas morning, and we held off the opening until 7 a.m. so that Abby could get a little more sleep. At our house, Santa always fills the stockings, and each child receives three presents under the tree. This year, it just worked out that of those three presents, two were “small” and one was HUGE (not necessarily in size but rather in the amount of appreciation by the recipient!). Caleb received a wooden walker, Abby her pink Kindle (a.k.a. “candle”), Miles a perfectly-sized acoustic guitar, and Ryan a new bike. Ryan took it for a ride around the neighborhood almost immediately! I always have so much fun carefully selecting their gifts. This year was definitely a success!
