After a little time to enjoy Santa gifts, we were off to my parents’ for our traditional Christmas morning breakfast (sausage breakfast casserole and homemade molasses bread) and present opening. As you will see, there were a lot of happy faces and fantastic surprises!
It should be noted that Mark and Ne’Kia challenged the adults to wear ugly Christmas sweaters. My mom was not the least bit interested in participating, but the rest of us did. I was told, though, that my $7 Walmart special was not nearly tacky enough. Ah, well, at least there will be a chance to redeem myself in 2017!
Thank goodness Eloise (left) got a new outfit, too!
I personally think Mark won the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest. His was decorated with pizza slices and the words, “Merry Crustmas!”
What gift could get this reaction out of Paul, you ask?
That would be the entire collection of James Bond movies on Blu-Ray!
Rhett and Scarlett’s first Christmas!
Photo credits again go to my brother. I think 2016 wins hands-down as the Most Photographed Belknap Christmas in nearly four decades! And that makes me very happy!
