I fell behind on the monthly Caleb updates. But never fear! The picture taking continued, and I am finally catching up.
“Firsts” 9 months old:
*Caleb started army crawling and, therefore, getting into everything.
*Teeth #5 and #6 emerged.
*He received his first haircut!
“Firsts” 10 months old:
*Caleb learned how to use a sippy cup.
*Teeth #7 and #8 emerged.
*He endured his first stomach virus and second ear infection – simultaneously!
*He figured out how to go gracefully from crawling to sitting up.
*Caleb pulled up to kneeling on January 16, 2017.
“Firsts” 11 months old:
*Caleb said his first word: “Uh-oh!” He knows exactly when to use it and thinks it’s hilarious!
*He transitioned easily from formula to whole milk.
*He pulled up to standing many times over a period of two days. However, he has not repeated that skill since.
*Caleb can follow the commands to clap, high five, dance, and bounce.
*Ear infection #3 :(
Turns out there is a big difference between can and will.
“Firsts” 12 1/2 months old:
*Caleb went from army crawling to traditional crawling full time.
*He added a second word: “Dada.”
*He can now wave goodbye.
*His 4th ear infection buys him a ticket to the ENT.
