Ryan assembles a jumperoo.

Last night, UPS delivered Caleb’s new jumperoo (Thanks, Uncle David!) as we were in the middle of the kids’ bedtime routine.  Ryan eyed the box with intense curiosity, so as Paul headed up the stairs to read to Abby, he said, “Go ahead.  See what you can do with it.”  Ryan was thrilled.  He got to work immediately and assembled it all by himself in twenty minutes.  Talk about a proud moment for Ryan when he showed the finished product off to his daddy!

 

 

 

 

The only mistake that he made was attaching the seat upside down, a mistake he caught by himself right away.

 

 

 

Eight is proving to be a huge transitional year for Ryan.  We are continually looking for any opportunity that allows him to take things into his own hands.
